March Tip for Cookie Baking Success
For best results, bake your cookies one sheet at a time on a rack placed in the center of your oven. This will promote the most even baking and coloring of your homemade cookies.
Often it's a good idea to turn your cookie sheet around from front to back about halfway through the specified time to insure even baking. Many recipes will suggest that you "rotate the baking sheets" which is what they mean.
National Cookie Days - March 2009
March 18 is Oatmeal Cookie Day. Dare I admit, this is even more exciting for me than St. Patrick's Day on March 17?
Don't get me wrong, I love St. Patrick's Day - I'm half Irish, afterall. It's just that I love homemade oatmeal cookies more!
